It has been such an unusually hot day here in San Antonio and I felt a little cooler when I happened across this photo of one of our new Buyer's backyard.
The shade will make it a cool summer spot for entertaining - especially after the cedar is cleared from the lot. Unfortunately, the landscaping is not yet in.
If you look closely, you can see see the beautiful blue pool set in the clearing and the patio area around it, the neatly trimmed boxwood and yellow Lantana set in pots in the foreground, and plantings of yellow and white butterfly iris, pink Muskegee Crape Myrtle, Texas Mountain Laurel and Texas Redbud set amongst the tall oaks that shade the rear of the lot.

It's going to be beautiful, isn't it!

A great way to have mind over matter really great details on the coolness I can almost feel it.
Me too! Sara and Steve, it's been hot in Massachusetts too!
Hi Pat-
...and this heat is sure to break soon! Optimism - it's the way to go!
Thanks for commenting!

At first when you said "look closely, you can see the beautiful blue pool" I squinted and moved in towards my laptop screen...duh. Nice to see both you and your buyers have a great imagination and that looks like a beautiful lot.
Hi Michelle-
Yikes, we didn't know that you had it too! Just when we were thinking we should be headed up your way. Well - Just what constitutes a "heat wave" in Mass?

Hi Angela-
It is a beautiful lot. I'll be stopping by to say "Hi!"
Sara
Ah, I can see and feel it. Especially that cool, cool water.

I need to think one of those nice pools into my back yard also.
I looked closely and saw everything except the Texas Mountain Laurel. I learned long ago that my skin just doesn't like anything from the laurel family.
