Every day, I am inundated with ideas that inspire me to write a new post for this blog.
Really, these ideas can come from anywhere: something that a client asks or mentions about buying or selling a home in San Antonio, an animated discussion with Steve (after 23 years, all of our discussions are animated - one way or another...), a photo that I see or a story that I read. Sometimes it's an offshoot of something that I've read.
There should be a new post here everyday!
Alas, by the time the day is done and all of the Buyers and Sellers are taken care of, I can usually only remember what I have to do tomorrow, not what I could have written about today...

Sara- I totally understand. There were several times today and throughout the week that I thought "I should blog about that" and then after I am done with all the running and documents and phone calls and I finally have a minute to write I sit here and think "now what was it that I was going to blog about?"
Hi Samantha-
That's so like me!

Take care of business first. That is the most important thing.
I'm with Jane, but I need to set aside some tme for more blogs too.
Sara, that's a good thing isn't it? Having clients to occupy your time!
I'm so on the same page only it's worse when you mature. Short term memory loss is huge. I have great ideas and then later not a clue what they were.
I have done a series on blog management for real estate pros and basically it is a blow off piece I do on occasion at the end of the week when I am desperate for post # 10. I am sure you would never do that.
Write the idea down. Then, when you have the inspiration, revisit it. I have an excel spreadsheet with about 20 incomplete blog ideas.
You can also save incomplete posts as drafts and go back later.
Sara,
We feel the same way...even if we write them down...we can't even remember why we wanted to write about this particular thing...oh, well it did sound great at the time. Have a great weekend.
I know how you feel. 15 days in a row with clients and I have barely had time to post a comment. Today I finally had a rest and have so many ideas I can almost not type fast enough. Still had to take care of the home stuff first but I finally made it.
