Bears in Texas? Speechless Sunday

This front yard looks so perfect - but, is it?

Where's Smokey?

I had just posted a small snipe about Homeowners (Property Owners), Associaitons, when I remembered what I had snapped on a recent drive through one Northwest San Antonio Neighborhood.  Although I am opposed to people not maintaining their homes, I am all for a bit of fun.  Especially if the bit of fun is as unobtrusive as this big guy.

Where's Smokey?

Here is a close up!

Here's Smokey!

Howdy and evenin there Sara and Steve

Sara I sure like the bear that you found. You can actually be driven along and end up seeing a real bear in the yards of homes here.

Have a good one

We're used to deer in neighborhoods, so this warranted investigation...if we start getting real bears or any other predators after our real deer we'll be looking for a safer area!  Do coyotes eat deer?  We have some of those.....  hmm...guess you're never really safe from "predators".  -Steve

Hello Sara and Steve - We really don't have to worry too much about Bears here in our part of Texas.  I bet the homeowners are fun folks!

Hi Sara... at first glance of the distance shot I really thought this guy was for real!  Great sight gag!

Sara, I don't mind seeing bears like that, even I can out run him if push comes to shove!
