Yesterday, I noticed that one of the hanging plants on our front porch wasn't doing well. It's on the warmest side of the house, and I thought that it might have gotten a bit dried out with the recent warm weather here in San Antonio. I was disappointed to see it wilting as we had just hung the pots out again in anticipation of getting our home on the market soon after Easter.
This morning, when Steve took down this yellow Lantana off of our porch to give it some much needed water, this is what we saw and if you look carefully, you will see a little Easter surprise:
For all of you who would like a closer look, here is our Easter basket!

It comes complete with the eggs!
Happy Good Friday to you all!

A nice surprise. Did you put it back up hanging??
Wow, that was really something to find. Happy Easter!
Hi Sara, This has to be the prettiest sight I have seen in a long time.
Sara - What a wonderful surprise! I'm sure mama bird will be coming back soon to check on the eggs.
Hi Sara, It is always fun to find something as special as that by suprise.
I think that is a pretty nice Easter basket indeed. I look forward to when the eggs hatch and we get to see pictures of little ones.
Any idea what kind of bird is taking up residence in your lantana?
