iTexas Realty Co. Blog: Stop and Smell the Flowers

Stop and Smell the Flowers

This has been a busy business week and it's been wonderful.

Some very unusual (for San Antonio, Texas), but tiny snow flurries on Tuesday kept people at home and allowed my Buyer to have a little more time to consider the purchase of a new dream home for their family.  That made all of the frozen toes worthwhile.

But the frosty weather did make me think about our last visit to the Cayman Islands (usually, real estate conferences and seminars are located in Cleveland in the winter...), where even the trees are covered with beautiful, tropical flowers that perfume the warm ocean breeze.

Every time my wife walks by the florist, she always stops to smell the flowers. Great attitude towards life.

I can almost smell it.  The flower I mean, and maybe spring.  We stopped at Grand Cayman when on a cruise a few years ago.  I got to go to the beach for a couple of hours.  Awesome.  Hope you stay busy.

Sara, Nice imagery. Pretty cold and blustery here in Des Moines as well. Cheers,

Hi Douglas- Whatever it takes for your wife to find joy in the day!

Hey Jenny- Ahh, a beach fantasy.  Count me in!

Wise words I can't wait to be smelling the flowers again...  Spring and summer seem so far away right now as the snow falls...

Hi Larry - nice turn of a phrase...

Hi Melinda-  Our purple plums are full of pink spring blooms.  I need to photograph them before they're gone!

Hi Caron gang-  Hang in there!  Spring is coming!

Hi Carole-  Well, at lease you can live vicariously through all the photos here on AR.  I know that I do!

Thanks to you all for commenting. It's so nice to hear from you!

I am so looking forward to Spring here.  Did you like Cayman?  I'm thinking of going there for a few days this summer with my husband.
