Almost Spring - Wordless Wednesday

Despite glacial (40 degree days here ARE considered near-freezing in this part of Texas), temperatures today in San Antonio.  You can see it coming in the faint greening of the grass and the hint of new leaves in the trees.

Spring is headed our way here in San Antonio!

Almost Spring in Boerne Texas

Soon there will be birds tweeting, crocuses blooming and fuzzy ducklings paddling.  I can't wait!

Hi Sara - Very pretty picture. Seems early for signs of Spring, but we are beginning to see them here too, even though the weather is still pretty chilly.  It was in low 30s this morning and foggy.

Hello Sara and we have had Spring showers in Las Vegas for several weeks now, very unusual!

The east is a white out, the south is colder than normal, California is washing away and here in the northwest we're warmer than normal.  Wierd year, nice picture.

Looks like a nice place to be during a hot Texas summer.

I've been to Boerne, Texas, and when I was there, I never thought in a million years that I would be telling anyone anywhere that I've been to Boerne, Texas.

My husband once sang at a wedding in Boerne, way back in 1984 he tells me.

I'm going to have to chastise Jim for getting those proxy errors when he was posting a comment and not going back to delete the duplicate comments.

Meanwhile, when did you start growing crocuses in San Antonio?

I see a hint of green in those grass blades. We're still too far from the equator in New England to have any signs of Spring. Send som more pics to brighten our day.
