Brisco Middle School
Opening in August 2010. Residents of nearby Alamo Ranch neighborhoods will be excited to see Brisco Middle School. It is the first Middle School to be built in the Alamo Ranch area, which is located southwest of 1604 and Culebra (outside Loop 1604)

I was going to ask if it was named after the former Governor of Texas but it looks like it is. I was hoping that the school spelled his name correctly, so I checked the link, and they do.

Yes, it is named for the former governor and in keeping with state tradition, it's Texas-sized!
