It's (maybe) the end of the Real Estate evening and I have kicked off my heels and slipped into some tacky sweats.
I wait, somewhat impatiently, but with tremendous anticipation for dinner. My husband (who you can tell has phenomenal job security), has promised to fry me some Cajun-spiced fried chicken. Having Steve cook me dinner is just about the highest form of pleasure at the end of a long day, but waiting for it gives me time to stop and reflect on all of the things with which I am so blessed:
A wonderful family - fun, intelligent adult children and darling granddaughters.
A career that's never dull and my husband as my partner.
Great friends and great clients (Really!).
The vibrant and multifaceted city of San Antonio to call our home.
Although the San Antonio real estate day can get pretty hectic, and the quiet times are scarce, I feel that we are so blessed to do this work. This work in which we have such a tremendous influence on the lives of individuals and families and have the opportunity to share in their joy. It's almost as satisfying as Cajun-spiced fried chicken at the end of the day.

So what's your addess, I'm coming over.
Cajun fried chicken sounds great. Fried chicken is my comfort food. When I'm sick I crave it.
Sandra - You will be on a plane when I tell you that there's homemade chocolate cake for dessert!
It is a good life, isn't it......any leftovers?
Dinner was fabulous. I wish that all of my new friends were here. Tomorrow?
Sara, there is nothing quite as wonderful as having your man cook and serve a fun meal! This one must have been quite delicious!
I'm craving it as we speak how do you make it?
Sara, for cajun-fried chicken we take out from Popeye's. However, I know how much you appreciate Steve's cooking for you. My husband cooks for us too and he loves cookin' Cajun. We're so glad that this cooler weather has arrived so he can cook up some jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice, and anything Cajun. Have a great weekend.
